Artificial Grass Installation and Landscaping in Dénia
This project details the renovation and aesthetic conditioning of a compact residential outdoor space within a development in Dénia. The primary goal is to achieve a highly functional, zero-water-consumption area with great durability against the coastal climate, blending premium synthetic green surfaces with clean-lined mineral landscaping elements.
1. Main Surface: Low-Maintenance Functional Green Zone
The central intervention of the garden focused on replacing the previous ground cover with a high-performance synthetic turf system:
- Area and Dimensions: Complete coverage of a total surface area of 50 square meters.
- Material Specifications: Installation of a 30mm pile height artificial turf, selected in a super-realistic dual-tone configuration. This model closely replicates the texture, density, and chromatic variations of natural grass, ensuring an optimal look year-round.
- Structural Boundaries: Placement of a corten steel metal edging around the entire perimeter of the green zone. This plate acts as a clean containment barrier, providing a contemporary finish and protecting the edges of the turf from transit areas or walls.
2. Perimeter Zone: Dry Planter and Nighttime Scenography
As a element of visual and structural contrast adjoining the synthetic lawn, a dry landscaping space was designed:
- Decorative Aggregate: Implementation of a white gravel planter, whose bright tone brings exceptional luminosity to the overall garden and emphasizes the green of the synthetic turf.
- Aggregate Containment: Separation and framing of the planter using a corten steel metal edging, maintaining aesthetic coherence with the boundary of the main garden zone.
- Sustainable Lighting: Integration of solar spotlights strategically arranged within the white gravel. These devices collect energy during the day and turn on automatically at dusk, casting a scenic ambient light that highlights the mineral textures of the space.
